------------------------- Skype is an excellent way to talk online and it is free. Ask any question. If I am on line, I will respond. ______________ |
Newsletter From this page you can retrieve my periodic newsletter. If you would like to be notified when I publish a new one, please go to my subscription form by clicking here. Please note that I share this list with no one. When I publish a new one, you will be notified by e-mail with a link to this page. The newsletter itself will not be included in the e-mail announcement. At the end of this note you will find a link to the newsletters that have been published. I started this method in April 2001 and as I find the time (and the copies of the newsletters) I will post earlier ones. If you subscribe to this newsletter you do not have to worry whether or not I will share your email address with anyone else. I hate "spam" as much as does anyone else and the last thing I intend to do is to subject my subscribers to any more spam than they are already receiving. No one has or will have access to my email mailing list. This newsletter is written as a general interest one that covers a wide area of interests - from helpful hints to occasionally my political drivel. I have been a professional writer for over 30 years and attempt to make my newsletters interesting - including everything from the conservative to the highly controversial and always a few tips. I also solicit suggestions from readers as to topics to cover. I love research and do my best to respond to any suggestions - the more controversial, the better for the "opinion" paragraph of my newsletters. My newsletters are not published on a regular time frame. When I have enough to publish one and have the time to do so, You will be notified. Whenever I think of something I want to say, I will add it to my WordPerfect file and when I think I have enough for a newsletter, I will edit and send it. I try to do about 3-4 a year but hope to be able to make it monthly. This is not a political newsletter, but I do occasionally take the liberty of including a little of my political thoughts. While I do not want to offend anyone, I have no problem in taking either side of a question. Politically I am a conservative. Business wise I feel there is no such thing as "too much profit" and totally believe in the free market system. Socially I believe I have a responsibility to help those brothers and sisters who are not capable of providing for themselves, but feel no obligation to those who are looking for a "free ride." Life has been very good to me and hopefully some of the thoughts you find in my drivel will be profitable to you. The price is right since this newsletter is free. When I have something to say, I can take the side of Colmes as easy as I can take the side of Hannity (my favorite Fox News team). I accept no banner ads and limit the commercialism in my newsletter to the last paragraph or two where I talk about the new displays I am offering. No part of my newsletter is copyrighted unless it is specifically noted, so any reader is free to use any part they wish, unless otherwise noted in the particular paragraph (seldom happens). With these guidelines, the question might be "How can you afford to do this for free?" The answer is easy. I get very paid well for the various columns I write and I do pretty well on my online auctions and web site sales. If my newsletter generates a few more sales, great. If not, I have the time to write it and enjoy doing that. Questions I am especially interested in are those relating to "how-to," "opinion," "political," "religious," and "controversial." Please share your thoughts with me via email at cy@hotlinecy.com. I apologize for being so delinquent in my newsletters this year. My father passed away in May and much of my time has been spent in traveling from Lufkin, Texas to Atlanta, Georgia to work with the executor and probate attorney on his estate.
For those interested, I have a non-commercial website that contains mostly items of personal interest to our extended family, but also copies of the many letters to the editor that I write on a regular basis. You can take a look at www.cystapleton.com if interested.
My Newsletters I publish a periodic newsletter - 3-4 times a year. It is mostly informative with a little commercialism. It is free. To request a free subscription, please email me at cy@hotlinecy.com and in the Subject field put Newsletter Request. I add and remove subscription requests manually. If you put Newsletter Request in the Subject field it is automatically sent to my newsletter folder where I can more easily add or remove addresses. I'm including a few of the older ones - the ones I can still find. Keep in mind that technology has advanced since some of these were written. At the time I wrote them the thoughts had some merit, but today those thoughts may be outdated.
November 2001 - My thoughts on Spam; Promoting your website; Self Published Booklets; Online Auctions; some radical political thoughts and a brief commercial. December 2002 - Drivel on my new displays; Fossils, Minerals, etc.; 2002 Medal of Honor Reunion; My Portable Printshop; Producing an Inexpensive Catalog; Auction Tips; more political thoughts. |
