Gift007 - This "Dino Dung" (coprolite) is a fascinating conversation
piece. It is the fossilized droppings or poop from a 35 million year old
reptile and was excavated in Washington state. The original organic matter
has been replaced by iron minerals. I have mounted this on a 3.5" x 5"
walnut plaque. This coprolite is about 35,000,000+ years old. While a
great conversation piece, coprolite is also important in giving insight to
the diet of dinosaurs and other prehistoric life. The picture is
representative. It would make a great Christmas stocking gift. I can drop

of Civil War relic displays. I have created several of these Gettysburg
displays and am working on other battle areas where I have the appropriate

customers. The 8" x 10" display in a wood frame and contains a brief
outline of the battle, a map, and five authentic excavated relics. The

- 2000
Presidential Election Chad - Many years from now when your
grandchildren are studying the 2000 US Presidential Election you will be
glad you bought this display. It will make a great "show and tell" for
their Social Studies class. This 5" x 7" ready to hang walnut frame
includes a map showing the counties won by both Vice President Gore and
Governor George Bush; some details, a background picturing both Bush and
Gore, and some of the actual "chad" from a number of 2000 presidential
election votes. While the final outcome was touch and go for weeks and the
word "chad" became a household word, Governor Bush finally won the
electorial vote (the one that counts). Vice President Gore may well have
won the popular vote, but that was close also and the popular vote does
not count. But, when it came to winning the "country," Governor Bush came
home with most of the "cookies." He won 2,434 counties to Gore's 677; he
won 2,427,036 square miles to Gore's 680,134; and as far a counties'
population, Bush won 143 million to Gore's 127 million. To add insult to
injury, Bush handily won Gore's state of Tennessee. Also, after the
election the question was put to rest for most. Several non-partisan
groups did a manual recount of all of the Florida votes and all came up
with the fact that Bush won the state. $17.50 - Stock Item

- Sunken Treasure -
The Goodwin Sands, a treacherous bank of sandbars just off the English
coast, was well deserving of its nickname, "The Shipswallower." In 1809
the Admiral Gardner and her sister ship, Britannia, met their match and
ended up at the bottom of this nautical graveyard. The Admiral Gardner was
loaded with a cargo of anchors, cannonballs, copper ingots, iron bars, and
a shipment of new copper coins minted by the East India company. This is
one of those coins - as it was found after being in the sea for 176 years.
The coins were struck by the Soho Mint and were the first coins to be
struck on a steam driven coin press. The press was designed by Soho owner,
Matthew Boulton and his former business partner, James Watt - among the
earliest pioneers in the development of the steam engine. Admiral
Gardner's treasure lay at the bottom of the Goodwin Sands from January 25,
1809 until it was discovered by a group of English adventurors in 1985.
This coin is one from that wreck. The coin is beautifully mounted in a 5"
x 7" walnut frame and the backing has a history of the ship and coin. The
coin is in a plastic pocket so both sides can be viewed or the coin can be
removed. Under the clear plastic pocket is a picture of what the Admiral
Gardner might have looked like. Note that after over 190 years the coin is
in excellent condition. I have not cleaned the coin. It comes with a
history of the incident that includes undersea pictures of the treasure.

- WWII
Invasion Display - This beautiful framed 5" x 7" display honors two
of history's most significant invasions - Normandy (June 6, 1944) and Iwo
Jima (February 19, 1945). The display contains a little text on each
invasion, pictures, maps, etc. Most important, it contains a little sand
from the Omaha Beach at Normandy and the Green Beach at Iwo Jima. The
black volcanic sand from Iwo Jima was collected by retired Marine M/Sgt.
Chuck Truit and the sand from Omaha Beach was collected by Ben Zychalski
on a recent visit to Normandy. This is an outstanding piece of history
that would make a wonderful conversation piece. It is framed and ready to
hang. $17.50 - Stock Item

- Waterloo Relic
- This is an incredibly historical display. One of my premier vendors
received a small number of bullets (approx .72 cal) that were excavated at
Waterloo (1814) in a point known as "Lions Head." Since I am always
interested in interesting small items I can use in the creation of my
displays, I purchased all of them. and created a display out of each.
Waterloo was where Napoleon was defeated and from that defeat came the
term used to identify defeats "his Waterloo." Included is a copy of the
label that the digger included with these relics. It is in French. $24.50 - 9 available
Gift016
- Old North Church
Relic - "One if by land, two if by sea" are familiar words in American
History. On April 18, 1775 the sexton of Old North Church hung two
lanterns from the steeple of the Old North Church. Upon seeing the signal,
Paul Revere and other riders raced across the countryside crying out their
warning. By morning the Minutemen were on the march, meeting the Redcoats
in Lexington. It was then that an unknown person fired a shot from behind
a stone wall, starting the ensuing battle. That show was "the shot heard
round the world." This 5" x 7" display contains a picture of Old North
Church, descriptive text and an authentic piece of wood that came from a
beam in the historic church. It was retrieved some 20 years ago during
restoration. The original fragment came from an architectural restoration
professor who was involved in the restoration. I am always looking for
small, fascinating things I can create displays from and recently I was
fortunate enough to obtain a few of these small fragments. $24.50

coin mint errors - a 1c and 5c piece. The backing has a brief description
plus Old Glory. The coins are uniquely mounted so that both sides of the

- Oliver Cromwell
Relic - Newark Castle was originally built in the early part of the
12th century by Alexander the Magnificent, Bishop of Lincoln and the Lord
of the Manor of Newark. During the Civil War, 1642-46, Newark held out for
the Royalist cause and the castle was garrisoned by Royalist troops who
were besieged four times by Cromwell. King Charles I took refuge at the
castle before retreating to Oxford. Finally King Charles ordered the
castle to surrender and the townsfolk were ordered to demolish all siege
works. The castle was built on the Trent River and several years ago when
the river was low, relics such as this musket ball were recovered. This
ball was fired at the castle by Cromwell's men and it would have been hand
cast by the soldier who fired it. This is a great piece of history at a
really reasonable price. $24.50 - 9 available
